Shopping list on a phone

Everyone who shops for groups hits the same wall: recipes are written in cups and tablespoons, and the store sells pounds and bottles. These three features close that gap.

Purchasing unit conversion

Define, per ingredient, how many recipe units make one purchasing unit: cups of rice per pound, tablespoons of olive oil per bottle. The shopping list then shows both what the recipes call for and what you need to buy.

Ingredient info panel

Each ingredient now has fields for brand, product URL, item ID, and store aisle. The URL carries through to spreadsheet and PDF exports for online ordering, the item ID gives your vendor an exact SKU, and the aisle number makes in-store trips faster.

Secondary sorting

Shopping lists used to sort by one variable. Now you can sort by store and then by aisle for the shopping trip, or by store and then item number for vendor orders. Export to Excel if you need to go further.
